Brooke Ocean Technology (USA) Inc. proudly offers the Pollywog, a streamlined universal towbody that can house any number of instruments and transducers.
Constructed from fiberglass using hand layup methods
Stainless steel tow fitting and 6061 aluminum tail fin
Very low coefficient of drag
Tows straight and level at any tow speed
Weighs 75 lbs in air / 35 lbs in water, capable of additional ballast if required
14” by 14” access cover plate on the ventral side of the body allows easy installation of equipment
Highly-adaptable, with approximately 5000 in³ of available space inside to fit gear
Can easily accommodate the BOT Laser Optical Plankton Counter (LOPC) and other instruments as required
Complete turnkey systems are available, including winch, cable, termination and towed body
